A high speed differential to single-ended amplifier for instrumentation applications

چکیده
This paper describes a 1GHz differential to single-ended amplifier for instrumentation. The unity gain amplifier can directly drive a 50Ω load with a common-mode voltage centered at ground and can accept up to a 1 VP-P input signal. The measured noise floor is below 20nV/√Hz for most of the bandwidth and the common-mode rejection is 20dB at 1GHz.

A design method for active high-CMRR fully-differential circuits
A simple method for designing instrumentation fully-differential (FD) circuits based on standard single-ended (SE) operational amplifiers (OAs) is presented. It departs from a SE prototype that verifies the desired differential-mode transfer function, thereby leading to FD versions of the circuit. These circuits have a high common mode rejection ratio (CMRR), independent of component imbalances...

متن کاملThe floating capacitor as a differential building block
This paper analyzes the advantages and limitations of using the floating(or flying-) capacitor technique as a building block with differential input and either differential or single-ended output to implement voltage amplifiers, multiplexers, and coherent amplitude demodulators. Theoretical analysis, supported by experimental results, shows that the fully differential configuration has a better...
متن کاملA Concurrent Dual-Band Low Noise Amplifier for GNSS Receivers
In this paper, a new design of concurrent dual-band Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) for multi-band single-channel Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers is proposed. This new structure is able to operate concurrently at frequency of 1.2 and 1.57 GHz. Parallel and series resonance parts are employed in the input matching in order to achieve concurrent performance. With respect to used pse...
متن کاملA High-Speed CMOS Current Opamp for Very Low Supply Voltage Operation
A CMOS implementation of a high-gain current mode operational amplifier (opamp) with a single-ended input and a differential output is described. This configuration is the current mode counterpart of the traditional voltage mode opamp. In order to exploit the inherent potential for high speed, low voltage operation normally associated with current mode analog signal processing, the opamp has be...
